I have some exciting news to share with you! Here are the key

Libsyn to a new platform called Supporting Cast.
- This upgrade is at no additional
cost to you.
- You'll get improved features and reliability.
- Switch to the new platform ASAP to ensure uninterrupted access.
You've been sent an email on how to get started from our new
partners at Supporting Cast.
- The current Spooky Studio App will be discontinued
soon.
- You'll now be able to listen in podcast apps like Spotify,
Apple Podcasts and more!
- Last week, our new plus club partner Supporting
Cast emailed you instructions to access your new SPOOKY STUDIO
PLUS account.
Please read the full letter below for important details and next
steps. I know it's long but I want you to have all the info:
We're upgrading our Spooky Studio Plus experience by moving our
current members who registered via Libsyn using the Spooky Studio
App to a new platform called Supporting Cast. This change will
bring you better features and improved reliability.
You will need to move to this new solution ASAP to
guarantee continued access to Plus Club content.
Great News: No Extra Cost!
I'm giving you access to our new "Spooky Studio Plus" platform
via Supporting Cast at no additional cost for the remainder of your
current membership term.
What This Means for You
- Improved Listening Experience: You'll be able to access our
Plus content directly through your favorite podcast apps like
Spotify and Apple Podcasts - no separate app needed!
- No Additional Cost: Yes, I'm saying it again because it's
important - there's no extra charge for this upgrade
for existing members who signed up through Libsyn!
- Enhanced Reliability: The Spooky Studio App was great for its
time, but technology moves on and it will not continue to be
supported. I'm excited to provide you with the most consistent and
dependable listening experience possible. Supporting Cast is
trusted by industry leaders like Wondery, Slate, NBC, Sony Music,
WNYC, and more, which gives me confidence they are the best option
for Spooky Studio PLUS.
- Exclusive Future Offer: When it comes time for your membership
renewal (not yet!), you'll receive a special offer as a thank you
for your continued support. This offer won't be available to the
general public - it's my way of showing appreciation for your
loyalty.
Important: Ensure Uninterrupted Access to Plus
Content
To guarantee your continued access to all Plus content,
you must switch to the new Supporting Cast
platform now.
Libsyn has indicated they will not be releasing a
required Google update that is due by the end of this month.
So, to keep in compliance, I am removing the Android App from
the Google Play store. This will happen on
August 29th. This development will impact Android users
and means we need to move completely to the new platform faster
than I originally planned.
In terms of iOS users, I cannot guarantee continued technical
support of the old Spooky Studio app since support for that product
is beyond my control. It will be going away very soon as well.
Likely, in mid-September.
Therefore, the Supporting Cast platform will be
the exclusive way to continue
using your Plus access with your existing membership going
forward.
Next Steps
- Keep an eye out for an email with instructions to access your
new Supporting Cast account from Supporting Cast.
- All auto-renewals via Libsyn were canceled as of
August 6th. Please contact me personally if you notice any
unexpected charges from Libsyn.
- For uninterrupted access to Plus content, please move to the
new Supporting Cast platform using the directions in
their email. This will ensure you don't miss any exclusive
content or experience any disruptions in service.
Remember: No Extra Cost
I want to emphasize one last time - this upgrade to Supporting
Cast comes at no additional cost for the remainder of your current
membership term.
